aprendizaje. Por su parte, los estudiantes, han adquirido algunos
conocimientos y valores ecológicos, a través de la convivencia
diaria y la parcipación en acvidades extra-aula, evidenciando
el currículum oculto. CONCLUSIÓN: el Currículum Nacional Base
dene las líneas estratégicas para abordar la educación ambiental,
ya que ene fundamento legal y teórico para desarrollarse en
el proceso de enseñanza. Sin embargo, es necesario empoderar
a los docentes para que puedan ulizar esta herramienta de
manera efecva, con el n de generar aprendizajes signicavos
con los estudiantes. No obstante, el currículum oculto también
inuye en el hecho educavo, ya que a través de las relaciones
interpersonales se construyen nuevos conocimientos, se forjan
valores, actudes y comportamientos ambientales.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: to analyze the implementaon of the ocial
curriculum and the hidden curriculum in environmental
educaon. METHOD: we worked with a mixed approach, with
concurrent triangulaon design and descripve and explanatory
scope. To gather informaon, interviews, documentary reviews,
objecve tests and a focus group session were used. The
sampling was intenonal, non-probabilisc, voluntary and
expert parcipaon; in the quantave phase, we worked with
16 students and 4 units of analysis, being the Natural Sciences
plans. In the qualitave phase, with 3 students, two teachers
and the administrave director. RESULTS: the Naonal Base
Curriculum shows declarave environmental knowledge in
the curriculum, but it is not included in the teaching-learning
process. On the other hand, the students have acquired some
ecological knowledge and values through daily coexistence and
parcipaon in extra-classroom acvies, evidencing the hidden
curriculum. CONCLUSION: the Naonal Base Curriculum denes
the strategic lines to address environmental educaon, since it
has a legal and theorecal basis to be developed in the teaching
process. However, it is necessary to empower teachers so that
they can use this tool eecvely, in order to generate signicant
learning with students. However, the hidden curriculum also
inuences the educaonal process, since through interpersonal
relaonships new knowledge is built, and values, atudes and
environmental behaviors are forged.
